Christinas bilder fick en möjlighet att visas i Italien och vi tog naturligtvis tillfället att uppleva Toscana.
Vi fick några härliga dagar i bl.a. Pisa och Florens.

This picture is a tribute to a very good friend and sculptor from Carrara in
Tuscany, Augusto Branchetti. He lived in Sweden and I have the great honour to take care of one of his beautiful sculptures. This girl is watching over our home…

I was born in the south of Sweden and there grows a lot of poppies and I have learned by Augusto and his sweetheart Carita, that this flower is very common even in Italy. So the choise of picture was easy…Poppies! And the background also. Wherever you are, Italy or Sweden, you look at the same stars.

My sign of the zodiac is the lion, and when I told Carita she said that Augusto also was a lion. What a coincidence! You can find it down at the right corner of the picture.
